The Division of Emergency Management is seeking a cloud based, GIS enabled Preliminary Damage Assessment Tool, PDA, to be utilized by State, Local and Tribal jurisdictions statewide. The PDA project goal is to increase efficiency by automating the damage assessment data collection process through simple field data collection, provide real time situational awareness and analysis through initial damage reporting, expand the resources of Nevada counties, cities and tribes by providing damage assessment capabilities across jurisdictional boundaries, quickly transfer damage related reporting to the Division, include a mobile application that allows damage assessment teams to collect data, store the data in a cloud based environment, include a web application which allows managers to assign, track and report on damage assessment operations.
